Whenever you have a plan of placing a grout in your natural stone tile you should allow 1-2 days from when you applied the adhesive before beginning to grout. Mix the grout according to manufacturers specifications. It should have a fine consistency in order to have a fine and lump-free finished product. You should do three sponging cycles in order to maintain the cleanliness and stunning of the tile. However you have to allow minutes of time between sponging cycles because this allow the grout to set properly. Also be reminded that use the clean side of the sponge when wiping and cleaning the tile after grouting. And lastly wipe down the tile the next day to help seal the grout and to clean the tile as well.
