So if you want all these and are willing to pay a bit more for color and patterns the metal tile backsplash is for you. So what exactly is a metal tile backsplash? Basically it is squares of metals grouped together to cover a specific place. On top of that though metal tiles provide more flexibility when it comes to design and colors than its stainless steel counterparts. Just the same as stainless steel a metal backsplash using tiles is just as easy to clean and equally durable. You can use it on your counter top since it is generally resistant to heat so you can be sure that it will not react negatively to pots and pans fresh from the fire.
In damp air copper tiles turns from a reddish-orange to a reddish-brown color. Today we find examples of aged copper on homes with copper rain gutters or copper awnings. These copper accents beautify and add uniqueness to the home giving the home owner creative standing over other homes in the neighborhood. Current trends have taken copper to new places in our own personal Egyptian palace we call home. Decorative hand-carved copper tiles are finding their way into elegant tile designs as center pieces to larger ceramic tile patterns. Entryway tiled floors kitchen backsplashes bathroom tiled floors tiled bathtubs fireplace mantles and other tile covered surfaces are being beautified by homeowners with copper tiles.
For copper you have a few choices unless you have sealed the surface. You may allow the metal tiles to age and simply clean them on a regular basis using water and soap. You may also use a copper cleaner if you want your metal accent tiles for backsplash to remain shiny. However patina copper tiles have a clear coat protection so it will not do any good if you use a copper cleaner on them. Instead just stick to water and soap to keep them clean. You have to apply special care on titanium tiles even if they are only titanium-colored. Never use water and soap on them. Instead prepare a solution with equal parts of water and vinegar and then apply it on the tiles using a clean dry cloth to keep them shiny and clean.
